SS7/T1 Question

Subject: SS7/T1 Question

So we are getting ready to install an Asterisk system with SS7 and T1.
 Having never done this before I have a question...

Can I run the SS7 and T1 signaling over the same DS1?  Or do I need
two (one for SS7 and one for T1 voice?)
