chan_ss7 incoming issues

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi !

We are not receiving incoming call on our chan_ss7 sangoma asterisk wanpipe
set-up. Outgoing calls are going fine and link is up.

I have attached a pcap dump which in wireshark shows that

9 145.570000 12650 13323 ISUP(ITU) IAM (CIC 63)
10 145.572001 13323 12650 ISUP(ITU) REL (CIC 63)
11 145.602000 12650 13323 ISUP(ITU) RLC (CIC 63)

So, the telco is sending me an IAM but I send them a REL instead of sending
an ACM.
Is this behaviour correct ?

When I receive an incoming call, then the asterisk CLI does show that I am
getting an IAM but then nothing happens after that.

debian*CLI> ss7 link status
linkset set1, link l1/16 NOT_ALIGNED, sls 0, total: 0, 32
linkset set1, link l2/16 INSERVICE, sls 1, total: 1240754336, 1240753744

I have two ss7 links, one of which is down. But that is not a problem
because I am able to make outgoing calls with the second link that is up.

debian*CLI> dialplan show ss7
[ Context 'ss7' created by 'pbx_config' ]
  's' =>            1. Goto(dtmf,s,1)
[pbx_config]

-= 1 extension (1 priority) in 1 context. =-

The incoming calls are told by ss7.conf to go to context ss7 in dialplan,
and that context does exist.

Please help me.

Thanks !
Anita.

Here is my config.
