We set the screening indicator to 3 and that seems to solve the problem. The MSC can do this from software or you can get a 3rd party protocol analyzer. E10 is very configurable so they need to configure the MSC to convert and pass on the number you are sending. Also your NAI setting and number format must match their expectations - what I recommend is international format, but many will use National or unknown.
