Poor ASR with libss7?

Hi All,

We're experiencing some difficulty with low ASR (around 50%) under high
offered load on an Asterisk 1.6.1.9 system with libss7-1.0 and a Digium
TE410P, 120 channels. Application is standard missed-call-notification, so
obviously many calls being abandoned after a short time, but still a test
system carrying the same traffic with proprietary software on Dialogic
hardware has an ASR in the high 90s.

Only hint I have at this time is a high number of circuit resets apparently
being done by Asterisk; I wonder whether these might conflict with offered
calls on the same circuits. CPU load is negligible, everything still running
from RAM, so I don't see it as hardware constraints.

Other suggestions perhaps, anyone?

Cheers,

Charl
