The testing environment will be set up for a learning purpose: The goal is to simulate SS7 calls between two Asterisk boxes and see SS7 traffic exchange using wireshark or tcpdump. And because the TDM hardwre is very expensive, I have asked for cheaper interfaces like BRI and FXO.
