isup.conf , SIP.conf ?

  I conecte my asterisk seveur on  one switche directly , I use isup protocol 
   
  but i wouls like to know if i must use file isup.conf in the place of sip.conf

I map the channels like this:

zapata.conf

cicbeginswith = 1
channel = 1-15
cicbeginswith = 17
channel = 17-31
cicbeginswith = 33
channel = 32-62
sigchan = 16

zaptel.conf

span=1,1,0,ccs,hdb3
bchan=1-15,17-31
dchan=16

span=2,1,0,ccs,hdb3
bchan=32-62

and i restarted asterisk and now everything is working fine.
