So normally you have at least 3 point codes:

pointcode = my asterisk box with ss7
adjpointcode = the ss7 box directly connected to me
defaultdpc = the ss7 device that I am doing trunks/CICs with

If you are going straight to the ss7 device with trunks, you can
possibly make adjpointcode and defaultdpc the same.

Make sure you know if you are doing ansi or itu point codes and get that
setting right or it might not work.
