SS7 Debugging

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello.

You may consider the portable SS7 protocol analyzer/simulator from Utel Systems for Asterisk debugging. SS7 analyzers and simulators for both SS7oTDM (E1/T1) and SS7oIP are available.
Other protocol analyzers and simulators for ISDN PRI, SIP, SIP-T, SIGTRAN, Megaco etc. are also available.

More information: www.utelsystems.com

Best regards,
Frode

Hello Andreas

Yesterday finally i find out, that this behaviour - sending or not
sending ACM after IAM - can be controlled with the variable use_connect,
it was on my system setted as "yes" and therefore my chan_ss7 don't
sended out ACM, which caused that my provider sends me rigt a way a REL,
because ACM is needed and can't be replaced just by CPG, at least not
here in Switzerland :)

I seen in the code, that the value of this variable in ss7.conf is
controlling this behaviour. Now I changed the value and this issue is
solved for me.

Thank you so much for your interest

BR
Ercan

Hello Ercan,

I've seen reports about the the ACM/CPG problem, but I've not been able
to
reproduce it. Please, can you send me the PDU dump together with the
relevant
part of your dial plan, and the asterisk debug log.

Best regards
