These typically won't cause your problems, although Tomasz was right that these are typically caused by problems in the setup. Aside from them, as long as you have link connectivity, your link should still work just fine. MTP2 is designed to make sure that if there is an error in a received message, that it requests for retransmission of the message until it is received correctly.
