Hello everyone, I just tried to update my systems with chan_ss7 0.8.4 to the latest asterisk release 1.2.13 but somehow there seems to be a change in asterisk that let's chan_ss7 crash asterisk when a call from SS7 gets in. Luckily I have a coredump, as I will not be able to reproduce this failure or try different things, as the system is in production. Maybe someone has an idea what changed that breaks things, as I can't find anything on my first look, but I will continue searching. The backtrace looks like that: (gdb) bt #0 ast_translator_free_path (p=0x8) at translate.c:99 #1 0x08068f98 in set_format (chan=0x81fd318, fmt=8, rawformat=0x81fd714, format=0x81fd43c, trans=0x81fd710, direction=0) at channel.c:2399 #2 0x08063b80 in ast_channel_make_compatible (chan=0x81fd318, peer=0x814a410) at channel.c:2416 #3 0x40cfae4d in wait_for_answer (in=0x814a410, outgoing=0x8149d40, to=0x4109ac10, peerflags=0x4109b568, sentringing=0x4109ac14, status=0x4109adb0 "NOANSWER", statussize=256, busystart=0, nochanstart=0, congestionstart=0, priority_jump=0, result=0x8) at app_dial.c:399 #4 0x40cf7020 in dial_exec_full (chan=0x814a410, data=0x4109ac10, peerflags=0x4109b568) at app_dial.c:1209 #5 0x40cf5ea5 in dial_exec (chan=0x8, data=0x8) at app_dial.c:1649 #6 0x0808e585 in pbx_extension_helper (c=0x814a410, con=0x8, context=0x814a560 "outgoing", exten=0x814a654 "004922122228714", priority=6, label=0x0, callerid=0x0, action=0) at pbx.c:553 #7 0x0808f12a in __ast_pbx_run (c=0x814a410) at pbx.c:2230 #8 0x0808fe1f in pbx_thread (data=0x8) at pbx.c:2517 #9 0x40024b63 in start_thread () from /lib/tls/libpthread.so.0 #10 0x401ac18a in clone () from /lib/tls/libc.so.6 Best regards, Kai -- Kai Militzer WESTEND GmbH | Internet-Business-Provider Technik CISCO Systems Partner - Authorized Reseller L?tticher Stra?e 10 Tel 0241/701333-14 km@xxxxxxxxxxx D-52064 Aachen Fax 0241/911879
