open ss7 stack? any progress?

the problem with open source ss7 is that most telco's won't let opensource
products on their network ... wierd ... but oh well ..

the only option right now is cosini's libisup (works beautifully, and
tested in multiple environments, but is quite expensive, not compared to
other commercial ss7 boxes, but compared to all the rest of the stuff you
get free through asterisk ...

soon, hopefully ss7box will be up with hopefully a much better pricing
strategy ... any word from sangoma on this?
