Or maybe even a > direct solution? the answer to that depends on whether you are hoping to learn some trouble-shooting skills, or if you simply want the problem to go away a segfault is always a bug, not maybe sometime, but always - assuming that you are using only official arch packages, and you can give a clear recipe of steps to reproduce the problem, then the simplest way to get that bug fixed is to report the bug on the arch bug tracker - if you had done that six months ago, and then "let it go", that bug probably would be fixed now; and not only for your personal use, but for everyone if you are interested in trouble-shooting it yourself, thats awesome too; but the answer would be more involved o/c; and its not clear if thats what you want
