Is there anything particular you would like to see from wpa_supplicant?

If I try to connect to gcat (SSID) by issuing the following command, it
fails to connect with the error "wlp0s20f3: No suitable network found":

# wpa_supplicant -i wlp0s20f3 -c /etc/wpa_supplicant/example.conf -d

This is because it can't find gcat in the scan results. When I run
wpa_cli and perform a scan, I see the same result. gcat is not in it.
