All,

Lightdm has been working fine up until pacman update today. After the update, lightdm fails with a garbled screen. The journal shows:

  Lightdm.log shows the same:

[+0.01s] WARNING: Error getting user list from org.freedesktop.Accounts: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.freedesktop.Accounts was not provided by any .service files

What changed and what must be done to fix it?

Fyi using lightdm 1.32.0-4 with lxqt I do see the same (warning) errors in my loggings.

But I do not experience errors logging in with lightdm.

Also last lightdm update on my arch system was in september last year.

Maybe the cause lies elsewhere ?
