How I look at this I'd it's a lot like vim. We can either optimize to make things easier for newbies, or more efficient for experienced users. Based on context, it's easy to understand, and you're keeping things simpler by not coming up with myriad additional terms for related but slightly different concepts, with no benefit for the end user or developers.
