The xf86-input-evdev package in the repos is broken as it cannot be
built. Does it mean that it and other broken packages will be removed
from the repos?


Doubt it.

resourceproto and scrnsaverproto have been obsolete since they were integrated in xorgproto in februari 2018.

The proper solution is to file  a bug to have the package makedepend on xorgproto .
