[Classroom] pre-announcement and poll for Python for Beginners

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

If you are interested in learning the basics of Python and are confused where to start or you know someone that could use Python in their work or hobbies, there is an upcoming class. Notes are available online.[1]

There will be 5 or so sessions, each lasting 2 hours, to be held on different days. The format is similar to past classes[2] and this class will be held on IRC with logs published afterwards. New for Classroom, this class will have a simultaneous live stream accessed through YouTube which will be later saved and archived (with subtitles).

As attendants could be from different time zones, there will be a poll to schedule each session.

To vote, use the password: archclass
Your vote is not publicly visible.

Note that times are in UTC (and the times listed in both session polls overlap). The 2 hour window with the most votes will be announced officially here on arch-general and other venues like the BBS.
