Arch devs have long since decided to make systemd an integral part of Arch
Linux. And I didn't like it any more than you do, at first.
Actually there are 2 actively maintained implementations of openrc for arch : Apg way (uses udev from systemd but everything else is openrc) and artoo way (can be used with eudev) .
