It seems reasonable to me to make a request to rename this file from
the Python package; Fedora, RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian already do
this[0] so it's an accepted community standard that the name
"html2text" is the one from the other link. Unfortunately, those major
distros don't agree on the name (python-html2text vs.
html2markdown.py2) which leaves the "well what do we call it?" still
in the air.
