I know this is hardly a new problem, and I know how to fix a 'broken' png file. The problem is finding that file. Here's the case; i recently started using a application ppqt[1], which shows this warning on startup. Displaying PNGs is a major part of this application and that doesn't work atm. To investigate, i did an strace, but that didn't turn out to be very helpful; the only png's mentioned are icons that are /not/ found.
