Thank you. Could you give me more details about updating them? I am new to arch linux, can I try to uninstall them, and later after my problem solved, install the new one by pacman?

Yeah, but either updating them to something that's actually in the repos or by updating the PKGBUILD to not put files in the old dirs and rebuild.
