I wonder if this is why I have a problem with ncurses output in xterms.? Ie. gdb -tui or alsamixer. When I use programs in a virtual terminal/console that use ncurses to draw "gui" they have crisp drawn lines. However if I use the same programs in an xterm all the boxes and lines making the ui are fuzzy and blurred. The look like just blocks. I have no idea how to debug this. 8-(
