Strange, this should not have changed. Could you try downgrading
kernel and/or bluez to see what triggered the regression?

No user intervention should be required, almost everyone will be
staying on bluez4 for now (unless doing development/testing).

Could you open a bug report and also attach the same logs with working versions?
