Filing a bug report at http://bugs.archlinux.org seems the best way to give devs a heads-up about this.
already did, even though somebody else beat me to it, which i noticed only after the fact. but i wasn't sure if perhaps it was a mistake of mine, or the mirrors weren't done updating, so i asked here first. i'm sorry if i wasted your time or inbox space.
