Had a very similar issue to that with my rig.  Fairly vanilaa x2 Athlon
system with 500 gig sata drive.  A power cycle resolved it.  A subsequent
change...adding a new sata drive...on first post install boot caused this
to happen again.  Power cycling the rig fixed the problem again.
