Hi, When looking at the output from ./configure --help, there is no mention of boost at all. However, even after removing --with-boost, ./configure insists that it should look for boost, and fails with this message: ./configure: line 16421: syntax error near unexpected token `1.34' ./configure: line 16421: `BOOST_REQUIRE(1.34)' Which version of pdns were you building and which version of boost do you have installed? If upstream insists that boost should be a dependency for pdns, it would not be The Arch Way to disable it, even if it can be argued that the library is more advanced than strictly needed.
