That is not expected. You should still be able to log in. Are you
using [testing]? If so, you might be hit by a bug I introduced when
updating libtirpc yesterday. It can be fixed by logging into
single-user mode and up- or downgrading the package.

Anything that relies on ConsoleKit will be problematic.
