kbuildsycoca taking more than 6 hours to run is it normal? machine specs included

Folks I have an arch_64 installation. Specs as follows:

*I`ve tried to install kovpn (Kde Openvpn frontend + openvpn), during this
process I was asked to build kbuildsycoca. The process is istill running
after 6 hours. Is it normal? Are there any other ovpn clients you would
recommend?
