I changed my password quite rapidly. I was so stupid. Gmail messaged me
about two suspicious connections! it seems some bots are working hard.

Now about my mutt config, I did this whole set up just to learn, nothing
else. My configuration is attended as described in 1. 
Following your remark, I removed the line <set smtp_url> in my
gmail.muttrc and did some cleaning on my headers list.

I will see if this message still persists.
