Zech:

Not sure this will help or make you feel better. I noticed you are running
a Gigabyte board, so am I. I started having trouble with suspend after some
of the changes in udev. some other changes to accommodate systemd, and the
progression of the 3.4 version of the kernel. I don't believe those changes
are directly responsible for the problems but Gigabytes bios's are
notoriously buggy. They are written for Windows and compiled with
Microsoft's compiler not the Intel compiler. I've been hacking (well my
version of stumbling) on this for about two weeks. Mine appears to be a
problem with timing errors. Look through /var/log/everything.log and see if
you can find any errors or warnings, or anything related to TSC. I would up
changing my boot line to clocksource=HPET which helped in my case.

PS: Anyone know how to write a DSDT table?
