If I'm not mistaken support for a separate /usr was enabled > around January in mkinitcpio Forgive me if this has been asked countless times and I'm guessing it's just a matter of someone picking up the code. Is there a reason other than coding it why there isn't a run sdiff on .pacnew pacman option flag which could then be followed automatically with mkinitcpio?
