It's just strange that it's happening so consistently, like again today:

Targets (7): dbus-1.4.20-1 dbus-core-1.4.20-2 dbus-python-1.0.0-1
             mkinitcpio-0.8.7-2 qt-4.8.1-2 xorg-server-1.12.1-1
             xorg-server-common-1.12.1-1

Total Download Size: 21.59 MiB
Total Installed Size: 96.40 MiB
Net Upgrade Size: -0.93 MiB

Hi,

I've noticed recently that a lot of upgrades have been making the total
installed size go down. Has something changed in the packaging, like
compressed binaries or a new version of GCC or something? I'm just curious.
