That makes sense now, because on another x86_64 box that I have not yet upgraded I don't get the error: 16:54 nirvana:~> pacman -Q ntp ntp 4.2.6.p5-3 16:54 nirvana:~> l /var/lib/ntp total 12 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 8 Mar 1 16:00 ntp.drift Looks like it is set to ntp:ntp in 4.2.6.p5-5 now. -- David C.
