I have other 2 laptops and 3 workstations at the office, all of them with Arch Linux x86_64 + xfce4, and all of them behave the same way. If I hit <shift> + F1 it goes to the virtual console. I have installed them all from scratch (following to beginners guide), and I'm sure I haven't configured anything to do that. Could it have anything related to the NVIDIA proprietary driver?
