heh ... uh, no.  no i didn't.  i guess my mind skipped right to the
heavy artillery.

# ldconfig -v
ldconfig: Can't stat /usr/lib64: No such file or directory
/usr/lib/libfakeroot:
	libfakeroot-0.so -> libfakeroot.so
/usr/lib/perl5/core_perl/CORE:
	libperl.so -> libperl.so
/lib:
Aborted

... nothing useful i'm afraid :-(
