It is true.

Well, once in the past I suddenly only could logout with Xfce's logout
dialog. After adding ck-launch-session I got the other options like
"Reboot", "Shutdown", "Standby" and "Hibernation" back.

After one of the latest updates I again could only logout with Xfce's
logout dialog. Every other option was grayed out. After removing
ck-launch-session from ~/.xinitrc I got the other options back again.

I didn't change anything else in both cases. My user is in the right
groups and has the correct rights.
