OK, will try :-)


Already tried reverting to kernel 2.6.37 (the previous one used here).
Machine works, but still no audio devices.

Some other points:

- Plugging in a USB soundcard creates the corresponding devices.
- I also re-enabled the internal soundcard (normally disabled in the
BIOS), also that one works.

So the problem seems to be specific to the HDSP Madi.
