no worries, i didn't expect it to bear any significance with regards
to your problem, but it was worth a mention.  i was referring to this
page:

so you're probably just fine ... the "correct" way is a standard rsync
with a proper filter; the script on the above page directly loops thru
the repos by name, omitting the pool directory altogether.  anyways,
ill probably update today/tomorrow when i get some time, but that page
should probably be slapped with a large "try again later".
