problem with usb device recognition

Hi Archers,

I have a Logitech Quickcam 9000. It works great under Linux. Suddenly, it
seems to have stopped working so great.

I now get errors like this:

Nov 28 22:29:07 gulliver kernel: hub 2-0:1.0: connect-debounce failed, port
5 disabled
Nov 28 22:29:07 gulliver kernel: hub 1-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device
on port 2

I just upgraded and rebooted, as I saw a new kernel was available and
thought that might solve the problem. But it still persists.

Any suggestions?

Scott
