Actually, this is the full list of the patches queued for 2.6.34.1

There's at least one drm related patch (for intel)

but anyway, I've been using 2.6.34 and 1.8 on my intel 945GM laptop
and my ATI HD3200 desktop for some time now (probably more than a
month), and I haven't had any issues.
