New install kde 4.4 and latest nvidia driver w/nvidia 8600 card. I can
definitely tell that performance has tanked. Compiz cube is much more sluggish
than it ever has been. I haven't had time to dive into it, but you're not
dreaming if you think it is slower. I haven't tried on the box with 8800 in it
yet, but I expect similar results.
