This works in audacious, too. Just select a directory and click "Add".

Audacious has a nice XMMS like interface. But it has a notable poorer
sound quality compared to MOC.

It's notable at least with a 24/96 audio card and a good amp, speakers
or headphones, when listening to FLAC files.

Doesn't really matter to me, as I listen to it with iPod headphones, and only listen to Internet radio with it anyway, which usually has at best 128kbps quality.
