I'm using TB3 for quite a long time (since its release in arch repos). I
like it, and I don't find it slow. Must some some FS related issue.
Which FS are you using for /home ?
I find its proxy support lacking (I have to click OK for my password for
every RSS feed I have...), but once I got rid of that stupid toolbar in
the message header (CustomizeHeaderToolbar extension), I am reasonably
happy with it.
