Hey David,

I am tracking this email thread as this issue has affected a couple of colleagues of mine and I'm holding back upgrading my box until I know there is a definite resolution as I have been reading too many horror stories around the net about how bad this has broken peoples boxes.

Can you let us all know when you have resolved it and how you resolve it please?

Put it in /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf (that's where I have it).
