Sorry. I'm using 2009.08. But when I've posted on the mailing list I've looked on www.archlinux.org/download for the current version, and on this page all the downloads are 2009.02. (I've downloaded the files a few days ago, and on my computer they are with the name 2009.08.) Any problems with the site? I also want to mention that my proposed solution (mounting the disk as loopback, and editing inittab) does not work, because the disk contains a squashfs image of the root, so it's practically impossible to do this... So I've found a workaround: edit the file hooks/archiso from the initrd to append the lines to the files in real_root, just after the squashfs images are mounted, and just before giving the control to init. (Unfortunately it took me half a day to figure out this hack...) Ciprian.
