The kernel installed is standard kernel26 from [core]. The system is i686. pacman -Qi kernel26 Name : kernel26 Version : 2.6.30.6-1 $ uname -a Linux hp510 2.6.30-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Sep 9 12:37:32 UTC 2009 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 2.26GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux I checked grub's menu.lst file, reinstalled the kernel with pacman -S kernel26 and rebooted, just to be sure.
