My situation it's pretty random. I have two soundcards, one cheap on
board and another cheap pci.
With the on board there's no trouble playing two sound streams at the
same time nor any other complication.
On Board:

But while using the pci card the situation turns random. Some times
while playing music with Rhythmbox and watching youtube videos one of
them starts to fail and I just hear buzz. Sometimes it works fine.
Other times (with Ryhthmbox running and music stoped) when I play
videos with VLC I hear no sound at all, but others times it works
fine.
