Possible bug with kdm - doesn't show kde3 as session option & no console login

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Listmates,

Before filing a bug, I would like to see if anyone else can confirm this
behavior with an i686 install. I installed kde-unstable which installed kdm
instead of kdm3. With kdm3 everything seemed OK. I could select kde or kde3 as
the session type and I could do a 'console login' (CTRL+N).

However, with kdm, I no longer have the option of starting kde3 and console
login fails. The console login just appears to do a kdm restart. It just
flashes blank and then right back to the kdm greeter.

	Bugs or features?
