synaptics edge scrolling

Hi,

With the current xorg-server 1.6.1-1 the vertical scrolling using the
edge of touchpad is almost unusable since it's too fast now.

It's not possible to adjust it with both gsynaptics and 
'Option "HorizScrollDelta"' in the xorg.conf...

Thanks for ideas. My computer is ThinkPad R61.
