Yes, that's right. Moreover it's a view that's often held by proprietary software companies like Microsoft who don't really give a damn about minorities and poor people. I like making silly jokes that aren't so silly when you look closer. Most of the time I use irony to convey the meaning but this time the irony was somewhat implicit given the date. :) But fooleries aside I have a small suggestion for you: you will hardly get anyone to take you serious if you talk like you did; convincing people works best if you show basic respect for them.
